A delegation of students from Tampines Meridian Junior College Singapore, conducted an educational visit to PT PCI Elektronik Internasional and PT Philips Industries Batam, located within Panbil Industrial Estate, as part of an industry sharing and exposure program on Tuesday, 25 November 2025. The visit featured a series of presentations delivered by Mr. K. H. Pek from PT PCI Elektronik Internasional, along with Mr. Jeffrelly Roland, Mr. Ng Ling Tong, Mr. Yip Hai Hsian, and Mr. Josias Pangkerego from PT Philips Industries Batam. These sessions were followed by an interactive Q&A segment and a guided factory tour, offering students the opportunity to observe operational processes firsthand.
This program was designed to broaden the students’ knowledge of industrial practices and provide deeper insights into how manufacturing operations are managed on a day to day basis particularly in Batam Free Trade Zone of Indonesia. In preparation for the Q&A session, the students had formulated their questions beforehand, ensuring a more structured and engaging discussion with the presenters.
