On 24 to 27 July 2024, the Industrial Estate Association (HKI) successfully held a Business Talk and RAKERNAS XXIV with a focus on “Increasing Investment Competitiveness in Facing Global Competition by Optimizing the Role of Industrial Estates”. This prestigious activity was held at the Gumaya Hotel, Semarang. As part of the HKI, Panbil Industrial Estate participated in the XXIV HKI RAKERNAS.
The activity started with a Business Talk with the theme as mentioned. It is hoped that this session can provide understanding and strategic solutions to advance investment competitiveness amidst increasing global competition. The speakers present were experts and skilled professionals in the industrial, economic and investment sectors. Following the Business Talk, activities continued to Plenary I, which marked the opening of the XXIV HKI RAKERNAS. This meeting reviewed various important topics related to developments and policies that will be implemented by HKI to support and maximize the function of industrial areas in Indonesia. Plenary II, which marked the closing of the National Working Meeting, was held next. In this closing meeting, the results of Plenary I were discussed and strategic plans for future activities were approved.



The event ended with the celebration of the 36th Anniversary of HKI’s Tasyakuran Night and the launch of the book “50 Years of the Industrial Area Journey”. This Tasyakuran Night is a valuable opportunity to reflect on the journey and achievements of HKI for more than three decades, as well as an appreciation for the contribution of industrial areas to national economic development. By holding this event, it is hoped that HKI will continue to play an important role in developing industrial areas in Indonesia, increasing investment competitiveness, and facing the challenges of global competition in a more prepared and strategic way.
On the final day, the XXIV HKI RAKERNAS series of events ended with a field visit to the Kendal Industrial Area and the Batang Integrated Industrial Area.
